Board of Directors

The dedicated members of the Board of Directors of the AABB have a profound commitment to advance and share Biomagnetism and Bioenergetic Therapy in the United States and all over the world. The Board of Directors is committed to provide a strategic direction for the AABB in the development and execution of its mission and objectives. The Board of Directors gathers at least quarterly in person (when possible) or via webcast. Members of the Board must participate in at least one AABB event per year.

The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers so that they can meet their responsibilities free of any conflict of interest and to maintain transparency in the operation of the AABB. Board Members are volunteers and do not receive any financial compensation for their participation in the AABB. The Board of Directors is made up of no more than 17 volunteer members with voting rights. Members are elected and commit to serve on the Board for a term of two years.

The AABB seeks a broad representation in its Board Membership in order to incorporate ample fields of study and expertise such as: accounting or finance, law, academia, science, public relations, various alternative therapeutic fields, and two posts are reserved for individuals who have benefitted from Biomagnetic and/or Bioenergetic Therapies who can give testimonies and serve as spokespersons for the AABB.

Elections to serve on the Board of Directors occurs each year at which time a maximum of three positions become vacant and are up for election. This assures continuity in the operation of the Board of Directors while also providing opportunities for new members to participate who may bring a fresh outlook and additional expertise or ideas. The AABB is made up of various committees that support different areas of the Association and that meet alternate months in person or via webcast. Members are volunteers of the Board of Directors as well as other volunteers who are elected to participate in the Committees of the AABB.

Finance Committee

The primary function of the Finance Committee is to ensure that the AABB has a transparent and effective accounting and auditing system to ensure the Association’s strong financial position.
